Antique 1800's Oak Excelsior Display Case posted 2011-12-04 07:19:03

$8,750.00 in San Antonio, TX

This is a great antique piece that is rarely found for sale. This oak display case came out of a jewelry store in old downtown San Antonio. It is an Excelsior display cabinet and still has the brass tag. It has great detailed work to include crown moulding, dental detail, and lathe turned handles. The finish is very nice and shows great patina. It is about 10" long, by 8' high, and 3' deep. It comes in two pieces, top and bottom. It has eight drawers, and two sections in between where the panels slide. It also has four large wood shelves. The bottom shelf is very wide, and then the others become more narrow as they go up. You can see the old iron shelf holders in the pictures. This used to have glass panels, they can be replaced if the new owner wants or is great just the way it is now. This would make a great piece for a new home built in, or for an antique or other store, or for displaying a favorite collection. This item was onced priced at $18,000.00 but now the price has been reduced by about 50%. Price has been reduced from $9750 to now only $8750 or best offer !! Location: San Antonio / Boerne
